VA panels VS IPS: Which is better for gaming and as a workstation?

Hey LTT forum!

I have came here to ask what monitor would you prefer on buying? A IPS or VA panel?

Yes, they are both ASUS, and i dont really care for the 5Hz difference, i just want to know which is better for both gaming and acting as a workstation.

They both have their Pro's and Cons for sure.  Read this article and maybe you can form an opinion on what suits you best.
IPS is the clear choice if speed, color volume, and accuracy are a priority for your gaming needs

No worries!  I would lean a lot more towards an IPS panel for gaming and general workstation.  SPEEEEEEEED AND POWWWERRRRR!

Aside from the new VA panel technology used by Samsung in the Odyssey G7 and higher series. I will not select an older generation VA panel.

 

You should consider IPS if the VA panel is not from latest generation and so far only Samsung itself using it.
