Ryzen 7 pro 3700

Hi guys,

 

so I found a deal to get Ryzen 7 pro 3700 for 120€, my other choices are Ryzen 5 4500G for 92€ and Ryzen 5 5500 for 103€. Which one would be the best to get? I have GPU so integrates graphics aren’t that much of a bonus, just nice to have I guess.

Ofc there are R5 3600 for 86€ and as some reddit posts suggest it’s performance is similar to 5500, just that 5500 is newer, but some say the lower L3 cache in 5500 bottlenecks it’s performance (although I’m not sure of that myself).

 

I’m not interested in OC since I’ll be using the stock cooler, main stuff I use my PC for is gaming and a bit of productivity for studies (Visual Studio, LTSpice, not so heavy-load applications).

 

My current build is Ryzen 3 3200G with GTX 1050ti (playing mainly CSGO or older CODs so GPU ain’t my top priority).

5600 by far its noticeably faster than the 3700 in every single way

I was thinking of 3700 pro only because of the idea to get R7 for such a low price, my first ideas were about R5 3600, would the price difference from 86€ to 136€ really cover the added performance?

A 5600 is about 35% faster than a 5600.
