I have a 5600X and after looking at HWinfo I can see I have the PRD issues idle and under load. Is it genuinely enough of a problem that I need to figure out how to fix it or is it not the end of the world? I'm not the most technical person and when I've looked at forum posts and YT videos about it I don't really feel confident that I can do what they are doing. I don't think I'm seeing any performance issues when gaming apart from some hitching maybe but it could just be lag instead...

My MB is the Gigabyte B550 Aorus AC and I have the latest BIOS

I think the HWInfo PRD reporting is just wrong or makes no sense, mine is anywhere between 0 and 800%, got a great PSU and everything working fine since a couple years so..

its not wrong, its just that people don't understand it.

The *only time* this stat is relevant is when *all cores* are at 100% load.

that it tells you fantasy numbers while its not at 100% load is normal.

what's "the issue" ? there's no issue with this function as far im aware.  the fact that you said at idle shows that you didn't read the description.  Im also perplexed there are yt videos to fix "the issue"...

power reporting deviation is very unlikely to cause such issues
