But from some other people's experience with G2A it's a little bit sketchy.

Well, it's not a 'copy' of windows. You'll still need to get your hands on a CD or ISO file. However the key should work.

g2a is a good website to buy cheap software, principally games and to answer your question , yes, that is a windows serial key.

Okay then, probably going to buy that then :D I can download the ISO from Microsoft can't I? And I've bought games from G2A before and had no problems so this should be fine.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only that should work for you
