Hey y'all,

Been having an issue with my ram for 4ish months now. I used to have a 16gb dual channel patriot kit at 4000mhz that ran fine for a year before it started crashing my PC even while idling regardless of DOCP, running one stick, or running on a different slot. I swapped it out for a 32gb kit from Crucial at 3600mhz and it stopped the crashes for about a month before it finally started again. This time it corrupted my windows install and i can't keep the system stable for long enough for a reinstall. My build is fairly new, built it in August 2021.

Ryzen 7 5800x

Asus Tuf Gaming X570 plus (latest bios)

Crucial ballistix 32gb 3600

Asus ROG 750w gold PSU

EVGA RTX 3070

Reseated my CPU last night and there was no change.

I ordered a Asus Dark hero motherboard and a new 5800x3d to help narrow down my problems as I really need my computer for Uni. I'm guessing it's a motherboard issue but was looking for some input... Thanks!

Are you running the latest BIOS? Have you tried a different drive yet?

Bios is Up-to-date, disconnected my main windows drive and it crashed shortly after selecting what drive I wanted to use for a new install.

Just read up on the negative reviews of that PSU of yours. Seems people have issues with stability, and it failing over time. One customer from Italy describes it destroying his X570 motherboard. I'd definitely look into a new PSU as well.
