So I wanted to update my cpu and chipset drivers because I saw someone saying it will boost your fps, so I tried.

I went to the AMD site and selected my cpu(ryzen 5 3600) and downloaded the latest drivers, the same for my motherboard(msi b450 tomahawk max).

But every time I opened them, it showed me this message: image.png.a80238b5e87220935b14ccc097229992.png

So I went online and tried to fix this problem, I saw someone saying they downloaded windows troubleshooter and deleted every amd file and after that it worked fine, so I gave it a try.

I downloaded it and deleted everything with amd in its name, then I tried running the driver setup and the same window popped up again.

Now I am left with no drivers and I don't know what to do...

Please help!

Is that an official thing by Microsoft?

Try booting into safe mode and installing the drivers that way

I will find your Laptop thread and I will recommend an ITX build instead

Download the chipset driver from msis website https://www.msi.com/support/download
