I recently bought this from a shop for 8 bucks, someone give me more info about this please.
I'm not sure I was born when this thing came out

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc

Looks like a 15+ yo GPU that was maybe made for professional use

With 128MB VRAM I suspect it'll be totally unusable now except on a retro build playing stuff from the 90s...

I imagine the card will be fine for a retro gaming Pc or use in a home server use situation

It is by todays standards almost certainly outstripped by the latest onboard graphics solutions and even the IGPU found on modern processors.

Did you waste 8bucks? if you have a use case for it then no. if it was because you were simply curious well only you can know the answer.

https://www.manua.ls/gigabyte/gv-rx60p128de/specifications  this is a link to the manual should you need it as you wish to use the card.

It's a graphics card from 2004.

That card isn't worth using in a modern PC; any modern integrated graphics will run circles around it.

It would be great for a throwback XP build, though.

It might not work in UEFI mode since it's so old.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

LOLz....your motherboard might be too advanced to recognise the card and also the drivers for the card could possibly be so old that getting them to work on modern hardware is iffy at best.

it might still work but you would need to test it much older hardware is my guess.

Dont forget it was designed when Athlon and Direct x 9 was the cats whiskers
