There is a post pinned at the top of the troubleshooting section for this

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I’ve done all those steps last thing that says, if none of those work to create a post

So where are you machine specs and mini dump?

This is what I get for not quoting.  Seeing Ryzen3 on a b450. I’m always suspicious of having done “everything”. Did you make sure the bios was current?  Are there any post codes?

Board does not support post codes don’t have a buzzer to install either. It’s on the latest version from the Support page as well.

Like at all?!  The thing should have come with a speaker unless it’s some sort of OEM prebuilt.  And apparently it’s not so it has to comply with atx spec.  If it did (more than a few lower end motherboards are like that, expecially older ones but that has to be am4 which means it’s not that old. At any rate if you don’t have one a speaker is a few buck on alibaba. They plug into the thingie for the case.  They’re basically just for post codes these days though that wasn’t always the case.  There are beep codes, light codes, and code reader codes.  My memory is it has to have one or it’s not atx.  I’ve never heard of a motherboard not having some sort of post code system.

ASUS Prime B450M-A II AMD AM4 (3rd/2nd/1st Gen Ryzen) Micro ATX Motherboard (128GB DDR4, 4400 O.C.), NVMe, HDMI 2.0b/DVI/D-Sub, USB 3.2 Gen 2, BIOS Flashback, and Aura Sync https://a.co/d/9DqtyZ0 This is an Amazon Canada link for the board in question

Vga and dvi on the iGP video out. That’s an old design.  Dvi was from when they were moving from analog to digital monitors.  It’s a dead standard now like vga.  You’ll need an adaptor or an old school monitor if you ever want to use an iGP (AGP I guess) in that thing.  Implies beep codes if there’s no lights.  There’s also a code reader thing that connects to some port for debugging early stuff.  Not sure what port.  I saw the device once but they’re another really old thing.  I’ll keep looking.  Without post codes though there’s no way to know if it’s even posting or where a problem might be if it’s not.

Ouch.  Should though if It’s b450.  Even some of the 350s have it. Does the motherboard have stripes or a triangle design (a quick way to tell a from a2 it seems)
