Is this a good pc

Budget (including currency): 1500 euros

Country: Slovenia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming like warzone, cs go, valorant, I want to try out cyberpunk or gta 5 and for school.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want to play at maximum of 165 fps (that is my monitor refresh rate),

1080p,

but I want Intel and an aio but i can go without it if it is necesary.

And one question is the stock cooler for 13500 enough and if it is I can use that for some time ind upgrade if i want to,

I also want dlss.

I am going from an hp laptop so this will be a big upgrade and

can't really tell you much cause the prices are missing.

How much were you spending on the AIO, MoBo, Case and PSU?

Also, I think your better off going AMD. Their new non X chips are good value atm and it gives you an upgrade path.

on aio 110 euros

on mobo 240 euros

on case 130 euros and on psu 100 euros

And I am ordering everything on two Slovenian sites but the other parts on the list are priti much the same price

What website is it?

The build doesn't look bad, the 13th gen intel is solid choice for no CPU bottleneck, cooler's fine, don't know if there is cheaper that could do the job done,

RAM is fine, SSD is good,

Case can work, but maybe there's cheaper, unless the case has pre-installed fans, in that case there's one thing I would check - you need to mount your radiator somewhere and 240mm radiator takes 2 fan spaces, which means if the case has all fan slots filled with pre-installed, once you're done you will be left with 2 extra fans,

and finally I'd get better PSU, the W is good, it's the quality, it's Low End quality PSU, and your build is Mid-High end.

Any questions?... Quote so I get a notification. In troubleshooting, I'm not always experienced.

I'm quite decent at fixing/recommending upgrades/new PC builds. Or explaining. (or copying from Google)

PC:

Ryzen 3 1200 | 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050

PCs I used before:

Pentium G4500 | 4GB/8GB DDR4 2133Mhz | H110 | GTX 1050

Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz / OC:4Ghz | 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz / 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050

Okay,

you should go cheaper on the case,

I also think AMD is just a better bet here

I swapped the PSU for a fully modular

RAM is DDR5 instead of DDR4

https://at.pcpartpicker.com/list/WZTpwc

I'd also hold off till end of Feb cause AMD are releasing their 7000X3D chips and so the price of their 7000 chips will drop.

I was going stock cooler, but there is enough left in the budget to get a good enough tower cooler if you want one.

Check my link, 16GB of DDR5 for 80 euros. for your use case 16GB is more than enough.

Plus, keep in mind that with 13th gen intel you have no upgrade path, so when you want an upgrade you'll need a new mobo and ram. Where as with AMD 7000 and DDR5, you need only replace the CPU to upgrade, saving you alot of money (there is no garentee of this of course but AMD have a good track record and I'd expect at least 1 more generation on AM5).

It's a 65W chip, the stock cooler will be fine. and like I said, the budget for an air cooler is there if you want it.

Then use the last of the budget to add a tower cooler if you think it's worth the extra outlay, but I don't myself think it is.

yes, but Gen 5 cards and SSDs are coming and 3/4 years down the line it's a feature you'll want. With my build in 3 to 5 years you'll be able to swap CPU, GPU and SSD without changing the MoBo and RAM.

but Gen 5 is backwards compatible, and I don't see any use of crazy transfer speeds for average users...

You've got me there possiably, it is possiable games don't reach a point where they take advantage. But in the event they do, it will be a nice to have that comes at only 40 euros difference.

Also, the future upgradability of the CPU still stands. With 13th gen intel, you can't move forward. With 7000 series AMD, it's very likely that you will be able to upgrade.

If you really do disagree on PCIe Gen 5 usefulness, then there are boards for less on AMDs side.

but why should they go AMD, if Intel is cheaper, and can last them 10 years down the road

the games do evolve, but if we get to the point where games require 4090 to run at 60fps, they will lose milions of players and potential buyers because many people still run 10+ year old GPUs

Okay, lets assume they are going to use the same machine for 10 years.

what were you planning on building with Intel? I noticed you havn't actually given a spec list to compare against here and if your still using the OP's 13500 then AMD's 7700 has a performance advantage.
