A better idea than a VR headset plushie

I often sleep late, and I use eye masks to keep the light out.

 

The airline masks are awful.  I buy better masks that curve away from the eyes and so don't rub against your eyes or eyelashes.  They look sort of like a tiny padded bra.  But they seem to wear out pretty quickly.  And their seal around the eyes isn't ideal (though better than the cheap flat masks).

 

If you just make a plushie that you can wear on your head as a joke, it's probably not going to work well as a real sleep mask, so instead why not make a high quality sleep mask that looks like a minimalist VR headset?  The shape would naturally give better coverage, with a good seal and space around the eyes.  But you won't want it so large that it keeps your head fro resting comfortably on the side.  I still think the VR styling would work.
