Cpu and motherboard issue

I have a ga-a320m-ds2 gigabyte and the website says that it supports 5th gen Ryzen with a f51g bios update so I bought a Ryzen 5 5500 and tried but did not work i tried resetting the bios removing cmos and reinstalled the CPU but nothing seems to work i just get a black screen or sometimes i get the new cpu installed ftpm/psp corrupted or ftpm/psp NV structured changes press y to reset or press n to keep previous ftpm I tried clicking yes then just becomes a black screen again

i have the components before upgrading
ryzen 3 1200 (switching to ryzen 5500)
rx 6500xt
gigabyte a320 ds2
32gb(2x16) 2666mhz ram
1 tb wd and 2tb barracuda HDD
700 watt PSU 80+ bronze
windows 11

Can you check with CPU-Z in the Motherboard tab to see if f51g actually applied?
