One of the many features the OnePlus One had that I personally looked forward to was an elaborate theming engine, allowing you to theme every small bit there was.

Now this is available for all devices in their upcoming nighties.

 

This is basically done where you can install themes as packages, and just get what the developer put in, or maybe if you just want certain aspects of said theme, you can just use them. I'm definitely looking forward to being able to install different fonts and boot animations within the system.

this is for all phones using cyanogen, it will be patched in to upcoming nightlies.

finally proper support for system wide icon packs! i hate having to switch launchers or use specific ones. also the other stuff is cool

yeah dude, I can finally install the new boot animation with their new logo which I quite like over Cid :D

well.... i mean you could always do that by flashing boot animations but whatever man. it does make it easier. also there are some apps like rom toolbox which can change boot animation

yeah but it doesn't work properly with local boot animations. Tried flashing the PA 4.0+ boot animation but it just tries to open it as a preview than actually installing it :/

you dont flash it u have to reace the bootanimation.zip file

sorry i forgot thats not how most bootanimations work.
