Black screen After putting in an nvme ssd

TheCoolGeek

So, I have been upgrading my PC , I put new RAM into it, after some seating issues it worked, then I wanted to put in a new nvme ssd to replace my 2 slow SSDs.

I pulled out the GPU and put in the nvme ssd.

I put the GPU back in , connected everything and turned my PC on.

There was a black screen, nothing showed up, no error codes or beeps, fans are spinning and also the RAM RGB is on but I know for a fact the OS is not posting since the RGB on my keyboard is off and it is synced with the software.

I initially plugged out the ssd , nothing worked

I have tried plugging the GPU into another slot, nothing again.

I'm pretty sure it's not static electricity, I have been upgrading my PC for years and I touched the case to get the charges off myself.

I can't switch to an integrated GPU since my CPU doesn't have that.

I'm not sure what to do, since I have never encountered this problem before, thanks for any help

If you have a spare GPU I'd try that
I also assume you have checked that the power cables are plugged in on both sides

This is mildly suspicious. Can you try reseating your CPU? It's possible the heat sink got bumped while you were fiddling and there's imperfect contact on the pins. This can lead to ram instability problems as well as GPU not detecting
