Hai! I need light strips for my current computer case,I hope this is in the right section,

I'm in the US and I don't want to pay too much.

I need atleast the color to match razer peripherals (green, venom like). If possible, a light strip that can be changed to different colors would be best.

Check eBay for 5050 SMD strips, you can find 16' lengths of RGB for about $15. I'd recommend replacing the adhesive with actual 3m double sided tape, or hot gluing them in place.

For another $6 you can get a RGB controller, then wire it up to a molex plug, the yellow wire will be your +12v and the black is the return.

I'd go with #4 and you can point the IR receiver out the front of your case somehow, or just open your case panel and point the remote at it to change colors. http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-KEY-OR-44-KEY-IR-Remote-Controller-Wireless-For-3528-5050-RGB-SMD-LED-Strips-/400555342665?pt=US_Lighting_Parts_and_Accessories&var=&hash=item5d42f57b49

This will require some soldering and wire like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-RGB-4-Pin-Extension-Wire-Connector-Cable-Cord-For-3528-5050-RGB-LED-Strip-/160938529075?pt=US_Lighting_Parts_and_Accessories&var=&hash=item2578af1133

The sell pre-made extensions, and adapters to avoid soldering, but it adds up in cost quite quick. If you want to make it a little easier you can buy .1" headers and solder them to the wire and LED strips for easy of assembly inside the case.

You can also get around soldering the controller with one for the male versions of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Pairs-5-5-x-2-1mm-CCTV-LED-Male-Female-DC-Power-Plug-Jack-Adapter-Connector-/301115471905?pt=US_Surveillance_Cables_Adapters_Connectors&hash=item461be17821 and use a molex adapter like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/IDE-Molex-4-pin-Female-to-SATA-15-pin-Male-Power-Adapter-Cable-US-/151296279884?pt=US_USB_Cables_Hubs_Adapters&hash=item2339f6054c

Cut off a black and the red wires, cut the yellow and remaining black to length, and then strip the jacket, insert into the DC plug adapter and screw the terminals down.

I second this. I've been using cheap LED strip for all kinds of things, and it's probably perfect for PC case lighting (but I have you to try it). If you can do some soldering and hide the strips and cables properly it will probably be well worth it.

Something like this might be good for you, but you will want to check its from a repuable seller. Best of luck :)

Haha, after discovering them, I bought several rolls and am pretty much going to light my entire house and shop with them. I've had about 100' total installed for a year now (some short sections for several years) without one issue on any of them other than adhesive not being the greatest. They are freaking awesome for the money.

if you have an iron already just build your own strips like the rest of us. scheer's mini guide is perfect.

Heres the trick, ONLY light up the best part. You need negative light and shadows in a show piece... you can spot a noob from a mile away when his rig glows like a UFO
