Hi,

First time posting and was looking for some help with my first pc build. So I have a MSI B350 Tomahawk with a Ryzen 3 3100 CPU. I was looking for best ways to configure bios. I was wondering if turn on xmp would be beneficial. Also I have a fan or two that are running full bore and when I look at configuration they are set at dc. Should I switch these to PWM? Thanks for any input

If you have pwm fans then you should have them set to pwm.

If you have ram that supports XMP you can turn that on as well.

What is your ram rated for?

It is cl14 3000 g skill ram. Also as far as knowing if the fans are pwm is that based off the fans themselves or off the motherboard?

If the fans have 4 pins plugged into the motherboard the fan is pwm. If the motherboard has 3 pins you can still plug the 4 pin fan in but can't have pwm controls. If both are 4 pin you are golden.
