Good morning all, I was wondering, during my new workstation build, I found a brand new Crucial M4 64GB SSD I never got around to using.  My question is what would be a good use for this drive?  Could it be used as Cache for Windows 8?  If so, how would I go about setting this up in the BIOS?

Thanks,

You can put large programs on it.

Do you already have a SSD for your OS? Because if not i would reccoment to reinstall Windows 8 on that SSD.

Use it as a second drive?

Run it in RAID.

If you use productivity software like Photoshop or After Effects ~ you can use this SSD as a dedicated scratch disk.

I have my OS on a 240GB SSD, this was just a spare I had hanging around.  I do run Steam and Blender on this workstation, but I have everything else including those programs on a WD Black 1TB HDD.  I did think about using it as a Steam game drive, but I have nowhere near that many games to have it do any good with.
