Are the RX 6600 gpu drivers safe to run at the moment?

KrisFix-Germany made a follow-up video on it and stated that drivers were not the cause and cannot do this type of damage as they don't handle the card's voltage control/fan curve/etc. Most of these cards were possibly from crypto miners and they were not taken care of properly and humidity/expansion causes the dies to crack or die.

I had the current version (released 12/8/2022) and recently flashed back in order to prevent possibly messing up my card due to the recent issues the 6800 and 6900 cards have been having. I would like to go back, as some of the games i play have had issues, but i was wondering if the 6600 had any problems with the current drivers or if it was something with the higher end cards.  Thanks in advance.

The rumor about "recent driver for 6800/6900" turned out to be false. You can read latest posts here:

The latest drivers are working fine for my 6600xt and 6600 cards but experienced stability issues on my 6900xt with games crashing and not playable World of Warcraft being an example. I downgraded to the 22.6.2 build and had no further issues.  The 6900xt cards seem to be more sensitive to drivers than the 6600 series.
