You could try unplugging everything from it and plugging stuff back in one by one to see if it works, but if there's a short, there's a short and it needs to be returned.

There are a lot of other headers coming off that pump, so you could try, but I probably wouldn't. I'd return for a new one.

Hi, the problem is no matter what I do I get a flash of light for a few milliseconds and then nothing. I have switched CPU, switch motherboard, taken out the GPU, paper clipped method to find if my PSU is working which it was, unplugged everything other than the motherboard and cpu still same light and that’s it. I honestly don’t have a clue what could be wrong due the fact all the parts I’m testing a brand new. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks muchly.

Things i've run into in the past:

Ram not in the correct slots (varies by board)

Bios doesn't support CPU

Missing cable connection somewhere that is required

lack of proper ritual sacrifice?

Good luck with it! and post a solution if you find one. I am genuinely curious.

I don’t think it will be the bios or CPU as this originally started with my old motherboard and CPU with did work together until I added an AIO which after that was install nothing worked even without it. Missing cable I don’t think so I have gone over the entire motherboard and parts to make sure it’s all plugged in. And I have tried all the different rams slots with a single stick. Thank you for the ideas but this has honestly racked my brain especially with how much iv spent on the new parts the past few days.

thanks

How? The system will not turn on.

On a septerate device, download the BIOS update from your motherboard manufactures site. then insert the usb into your BIOS flash port and then press the flash BIOS button, make sure that you have your CPU and motherboard cables are corrrectly connected.

Okay, it’s a N7 B550 and that options I have for BIOS version are “instant flash” and “windows” does it matter which one I pick?

Then you didn't do it correctly. The USB drive is formatted in FAT32 and in the correct port? What all did you have plugged into the motherboard besides the 24 pin power cable?

Right ignore the previous bit. It boots however when I plug a certain SATA cable in which is connected to my AIO and SSD it instantly shuts off so I am going to test which one is shutting it off.

So I am about 99% sure it’s the AIO which it’s instantly turning the PC off when connected. So one problem solved but another comes as I can’t exactly run the pc without the CPU being cooled. Any idea?

I think I am just going to return it to save the hassle. Funny because the AIO was the first thing I bought so I didn’t expect it to be dead already. However, thank you very much for replying fast and getting to the solution with me. I really appreciate it.
