ASRock Z370 Pro 4 Wi-Fi M.2 card compatibility.
z370 has no CNVi support, z390 chipset does.
So I think you need a wireless card WITHOUT CNVi, that can just work on its own and talk through pci-e lanes and usb (for bluetooth).
There's no mention of CNVi in the specifications for 9260NGW : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/99445/intel-wirelessac-9260/specifications.html
or in the product brief linked on that page : https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getcontent/571710
so I guess it should work.
This page says the part numbers below use CNVi so they won't work on your board : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000026155/wireless.html
- Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX411
- Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX211
- Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX203
- Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201
- Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX101
- Intel® Wireless-AC 9560
- Intel® Wireless-AC 9462
- Intel® Wireless-AC 9461
I would probably look for the AX210 because it's WiFi 6e and it's fairly cheap on ebay .. for example one result shows it at around $22 : https://www.ebay.com/itm/125417730880
Here's an AX200NGW from a US seller at $14.5 : https://www.ebay.com/itm/394338401143
Though at the time AX200 was popular there were some driver issues with bluetooth, and some people were complaining about random disconnections, maybe they fixed it since then.
I see 8260 is under 10$, some 9xxx cards under 20$, lots of choices.
