Ok can you HELP PLEASE

Ok so I have built my own router using a dell pc and untangle software 

 

so if am playing call of duty and my Nat type is open on the pc  then my kid will put her Xbox s on and it makes my Nat type strict or moderate 

 

any ideas please

The only idea I can think of is if you and your kid are playing the same game it could be a firewall issue. Well not an issue, just the fact that ports in a fire wall can only be open for one device at a time. So if a game uses lets say port 100, then only one machine on the network can have that port open. 

 

Im not familiar with Untangled, but lots of routers have UPNP which can dynamically open ports in the firewall if software request it. So if both of you are playing call of duty then there's a conflict.
