Bios version

I have asus prime b550m-k and ryzen 5 5600. The bios version required for this cpu to run is 2603

but mine is much older version and my cpu is running with no problems at all. Did the seller sell me a fake cpu or what?

there's nothing wrong, but some things might not work because the cpu maybe wasnt released when this bios version was out.

you should update it tho

But i saw too many people reporting that the system wouldn't even boot up with ryzen5 5600x and they needed to update bios with an older cpu first so how could my system boot and work with an even newer cpu
