Question about Nexus 5

Hi all!

 

I'm about to make a purchase of a Nexus 5 in the google play store, and I got the three options, black, white and red (so freakin sexy)

 

I saw Linus's review and MKBHD's review of the phone, Linus complained that the white version was glossy and slippery, so did MKBHD, so I decided for the black, but I had completely forgot about the red.

 

My question is, does the red use the same finish as the black, or the white, or neither? I don't want it to be glossy, or slippery, soo yeah.

 

Does anyone own a red Nexus 5? If so, what are your thoughts?

MKBHD did a review of the red version and I think he commented about it on that video. 

He says about a minute in that it uses the same materials as the black one.

Also note that the red in the video isn't representative of the actual colour of the phone, YouTube really fucked the colour correction up.

The red one has the matte red plastic wrap around the bezels of the phone, where the white one has glossy black plastic around the edges, which makes it feel so slippery and cheap. it looks like the red one feels similar to the black one.

Am I the only one who prefers the white over the black one? To me the soft touch just feels... dirty.
