Quiet mechanical keyboard?

Currently using the Logitech G910 and while the girlfriend REFUSES to game on her own, she loves to sit and play thru my hands.  Yes, this means directing me for HOURS as "we" build Minecraft.  To that end, she has stated she hates listening to my current keyboard, the G910.  So If I am going to get a new one, I would like mechanical swtiches.

 

Are there are mechanical keyboards that are truly quiet?  Or at least softer in sound tthan the G910?  The Romer switches in the Logitech are pretty loud IMO, but I'd love some suggestions to go check out.

Well. You could try o-rings and lube. I upgraded my Keychron K6 with o-rings and that already helped quite a bit. It isn't silent, but is is quiet enough for me.

If you want to go super quiet, then you may have to go custom:

yeah...a good cherry membrane office keyboard is usually very quiet.

You could maybe try MX Browns, they're not to everyone's taste, but they try to remain quiet while have tactile feedback.

I got a G910 and a G512 carbon with linear and tactile key. Most noise comes from the keycap hitting the board, so O rings, assuming you find the right size, are a good idea to to lessen the noise

Or you can get something with Cherry mx silent reds or browns.
Or google silent mechanical switches.

Topre RealForce (have one at home) or much of anything that uses Topre switches (using one right now at work).
 

For things that are cheaper, Cherry brown, ideally with O rings. Be warned that the O rings won't last 10 years (speaking from experience).
