RX 6500 XT

I want to know if i put RX 6500 xt on dell optiplex 3080MT, 260w, intel core i3 10105. It will work or not and if not what is the best gpu to get for this pc.

It would likely function assuming that PSU has an 8 pin PCIe connector (not a safe assumption, it's very possible it doesn't), but since it's not a gen 4 machine it would not function optimally. Your best option is likely gonna be one of the low power variants of the 1650 or, if it does happen to have PCIe power connectors, an RX 6600 or 1660 Super, though those would both be pushing that PSU to near its limits.

If you can, you should get the RTX 3050 instead or possibly a 1660 super.

It doesn’t have PCIe power connectors, I’m considering Sata to 6 pin adapter like what Linus did or what is your opinion

Wouldn't really end up recommending those adapters, they're usually pretty sketchy. Stick to a 1650 low power edition, that should still be a decently strong card and won't require external power to function
