would really like that LG linus has but

2560x1600 barely  run games at native on current gen cards

so i guess ill stick with 2560xXXXX screens

i like it, because im a huge multi monitor fan but this is a better solution

21:9 is the format that cinema theaters are like, alot wider

in  cases like that i completely understand, but its that every person that watches linus suddenly wants a 21:9 monitor

If you spend 50% or more doing productivity, 16/9

If you spend 50% or more doing video/gaming, 21/9

Depending on what you do, is what decides what you buy...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

NO! please of the love of god NO! 21:9 IS MADE FOR PRODUCTIVITY!!!! NOT GAMING! its just good at that too, all the companies are advertising it for Profesionals, not for gamers....

I was only considering this because it was 3440x1440 not 2560x1080 and it would be great for truck simulator etc then i remembered about oculus and other vr then was like screw that getting 2 4k monitors and an oculus(or whatever is best when vr takes off) no idea why linus likes this over 4k for anything 4k is amazing for productivity.

I don't care about black bars either side of the 16/9 aspect on the 21/9 panel.

Others will however... but not me.
