Cooler question

I have a g1 sniper z87 mobo

And gtx 770 gigabyte

I5 4670 k

And fractal design arc midi r2

My question is ,

I intend to get d-15 or phanteks cooler

However, it has came into my attention that PCI e x16 may be affected , therefore I wish to ask owners of these coolers .....

Does it affect my PCI e x 16 slot of my mobo if I where to get it ?

Is there any sites to check for compatibility??

the sniper should be fine which one do you have? if the cpu socket is high up it wont be a problem, btw the phantek cooler is the same as older noctua coolers

Sorry for being fussy , but I donT want to buy something that might be incompatible , and these things are not cheap in my country

If you look at the motherboard the first PCIE slot is only 1x, correct? If i am right then you will be fine with the graphics card but you may not be able to use the first PCIE 1x slot so bear that in mind

I want both of my PCI to be used as I be sli in very near future , therefore I really need to confirm that the cooler is not going to affect it

If you want both PCIE 16x, so you can do sli/crossfire, you will be fine. you will possibly lose the use of the small one directly underneath the CPU socket

You should be fine with that mobo. Your first PCIe slot is x1, not x16. D15 will cover that x1 slot and your GPUs will fit fine.
