Question about DOCP and CPU

Go to solution Solved by bmx6454,

it's fine, shouldn't cause any issues long term.

Hello!
I recently discovered that my ram wasn't running at its max capacity, it was 2400mhz when it should be 3200mhz. So I went to my BIOS and enabled DOCP. The PC booted fine and so far I have no problems with it, but I read that OCing ram can damage your CPU and I'm a bit worried. My CPU is a Ryzen 3 3100 and the specs say "System Memory Specification: up to 3200MHz" which should be okay for the changes that I made on my ram. Is everything fine or should I revert the changes? Sorry, I just get a little paranoid when I touch stuff on my computer. Thanks!
