Modified build.

robotness13

Budget (including currency): 850/900

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GIS, cyberpunk, Witcher, maybe video editing or photo editing if it's possible. Lastly school work (not concerned with this since anything can handle that.)

Other details Going to buy as soon as possible. Already bought the 2060 super. Using the sj55w Samsung monitor with displayport  WQHD @75hz. Happy to switch to HDMI if it would provide the same speeds. Previously had problems with this monitor flickering with my laptop through HDMI. DP fixed that problem.

RGB is unnecessary but preferred. Looking for a white and black aesthetic.

Chose the floating bearing fans after reading complaints of the stock h510 ones being mediocre with airflow.

1) Buy a better case, H510 is just bad.

2) Buy better RGB Fans (Arctic ARGB fans are good, and 1/3 that price)

3) buy a better PSU:  https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

4) Buy some G.Skill or Geil ram at that pricepoint, not LPX

5) Buy a new 6600 for a few bucks more than that 2060, and it'll be all around better.

6) upgrade the cooler:  thermalright peerless assassin 120 is the best cooler for the buck at around 40$

Do you have a good link for the 6600 by chance?

Happened to have a list that i just now used on another thread that fits this budget though its actually abit underbudget so maybe get a 5600 if you arent willing to oc the balls off your ram, with some used parts you can get far far better performance than what new parts offer at this price point

Used b450 go for ~50-70$ for the midrangers (pro4, a pro, aorus elite, etc.), ebay dont have good deals on these so look outside of ebay

pny 3070 cause rx 6800 pricing has gone to shit and used costs the same as new. If you are concerned about mining dont be cause these cards dont run hot at all and miners almost always keep their gpus in a good cool environment and undervolt unlike gamers, a particularly common abuse seems to be putting the card in a hotbox case, i mean you literally wanna buy an h510 that has no airflow, course that cards gonna die quicker than a mining card thats problably only gonna hit the low 70s at most not the 90s when in a hotbox case, though there are other abuses like smoking, dusty environment, overclocking (well theres no overvolt so no real degradation from oc itself but still not undervolt for cooler temps), etc.

tx850m v2 bronze, problably better deals outside ebay but this ones relatively cheap for being ebay
