So, yeah... I was bored. So, I starting figuring out who I would want to act in a Batman live action film/s.

I'm not certain on some of them and I'm still missing a few. Who would you cast?

Hmm, maybe Alan Rickman for Ra's al Ghul, but that feels like typecasting. Christopher Eccleston could work as Victor Zsasz.

 

Edit: I wonder if Elias Toufexis could work for any of the Batman characters.

Jonah Hill, that's a pretty awesome idea.

If Deathstroke never takes off his mask than it wouldn't matter so much just voice and combat skill.

 

Hmm, maybe Alan Rickman for Ra's al Ghul, but that feels like typecasting. Christopher Eccleston could work as Victor Zsasz.

I did think of Alan Rickman but I want someone that looks like he could be related to Cote de Pablo.

Christopher Eccleston is a great idea, either him or Robert Knepper.

I only thought of Rickman because of how intimidating he can be in his roles, but I don't like that he is often the "villain" in many of his roles. Eccleston's ears and facial expressions really makes him look the part of crazy and disturbed - maybe that's why he was given the role of the Ninth Doctor. The issue or strength is that Toufexis has a naturally gruff, gravelly, and deep voice so I don't know what he could play as. I loved Nolan's casting of Cillian Murphy for Scarecrow because it really gave Scarecrow this brilliant and manipulative character. Toufexis could work as a wild card kind of like how Heath Ledger took The Joker to a darker path of a crazy, cunning, and unpredictable villain rather than an insane, murderous psychopath. So, he could work as Clayface in that sort of way, but if he was a Robin, than he'd be Jason Todd considering Tim Drake has a more slender frame and is younger than Todd, while Nightwing and Todd are more closer in age. It would, however, cause the issue of making another gruff, tough guy character that plagues tons of films and games.

Also, I just remembered: Barry Pepper. Huh, now that I look at him, he could play as a younger Ocelot from the Metal Gear series. Anyway, he could be another Zsasz or someone else. Hell, listening to him as ZEUS from [PROTOTYPE] was satisfying.

It is odd to pick Taylor Swift but I think she might actually make a good Poison Ivy.

I can't wait to see how Ben Afleck does as Batman but I don't have my hopes very high.

I recently was watching Person of Interest and realized how amazing Jim Caviezel would do as batman.

Caviezel's Bat voice wouldn't be forced he could just go a little darker than his normal voice and I think he could bring out the detective side well.
