I think I've got it

1080p high refresh rate gaming on ultra, ray tracing is not a requirement but would be nice... I was told the stock cooler would be sufficient for the CPU so I excluded that from the build. If it'll make a huge difference I'll adjust the budget for a 3rd party air cooler for the CPU. Any help is appreciated.. hopefully I've got it down now..

Change the Gpu to 6750XT (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RbYmP6/gigabyte-radeon-rx-6750-xt-12-gb-gaming-oc-video-card-gv-r675xtgaming-oc-12gd) it will be fine for 1080P high refresh rate gaming a littile bit overkill. it fits in your budget and much better than 3060Ti

Will it still be okay with the Intel processor? I've heard that you should have amd with Ryzen and Intel with Nvidia.. is that true?

that isnt true there is not really locking gpus to cpus or anything perhaps the new intel gpus found the best perfomance with amd. it is pretty negligable anyways. if you want to go the amd route you can build something like this

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6kgwv3

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($134.84 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($168.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory  ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Kingston NV2 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($109.99 @ B&H) ( i would recommend a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB over this but NV2 is fine for the most part)
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 6750 XT 12 GB Video Card  ($379.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair RM750 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($129.99 @ Corsair)
Total: $1063.78

You could change the CPU to 5600X and get a cooler but 5600 is fine and comes with a cooler and cheap now. it is a Atx build so i doubt you have any issue with the stock cooler there and i choose a very good airflow case so you can use the stock cooler without any problem.

yeah its maybe gigabytes cooling issue you can go with other board partners and it does have a performance increase compared to 6700 for 10$ and i think its just that guy not having sufficient airflow bcz i couldnt find any reviews about over heating or loud fans. and Btw the TJ max is 110 on amd cards so compared to Nvidias 83 it can run hot but it is by design and nothing to worry about. its maybe a problem if you are choosing to go with micro atx but the case you choose seems to have pretty good airflow so it will be fine

And honestly I have no real preference between and and Nvidia.. so if I can use like a 6700 or a 6750 with the i5 and still keep the build around 1k then I think that should be okay..

A tad underbudget so you may wish to spend extra to get a new b550a pro rather than buy an equivalent used b450 for half the price (pro4, a pro, aorus elite, etc.)

Ssd is now dram, its gen3 but that nv2 is gonna perform worse anyways under sustained load and top out abit above gen3 speed

Used rx 6800, they go ~400$ on ebay, dont worry about mining cards those will be treated far far better than gamers treat their cards considering some morons use hotbox cases with no airflow

So people on discord are saying the 5700g is bad.. but they aren't really explaining why...

Bleh

Gpus crappier

significantly worse outdated and overpriced samsung that will be crushed by high end gen4 ssds at the same price, 25$ more and you get 2tb with the same performance

5700g will have worse singlecore than a 5600 due to less cache, remedied by 5000 ddr4

Board is awful for the price, b550a pro will trounce it

The nx260 i chose is an rgb case btw, just move one of the front fans to the rear for complete airflow, and its 15$ cheaper

Yes i may have somewhat high standards but the standard i keep builds to is maximum price to performance

5700G is a Apu and only have Pcie 3.0 and have less Cache compared to 5600X and 5600 is  better in single core and performance in game is higher due to it. but the 5700 is better in multicore due to two additional cores

This build doesn't have a cpu cooler and the price of the GPU is not correct so its over budget.

To be an expert is to know more about less.

Since you dont seem to be able to make up your mind on specs and wanting a more powerful cpu vs gpu and music is usually cpu intensive, heres a list with the best of all worlds albiet used ebay cpu, board, and gpu, also extra ram

12600k (212$)

pro b660a (95$)

rx 6700 xt (325$)

Also seems like used 6800 prices have gone to shit and you are better off buying a new 6800
