I am finally going to be upgrading from the stock cooler on my i5 4670k

I am thinking about a high performance air cooler (because I want a very quite solution + they look sick)

The noctua D15 looks good, but I would like opinions (don't care about price)

My System:

Case: Corsiar 200r

Mobo: Gigabyte z87-UD3H

RAM: Gskill Ripjaws X

Will the Noctua D15 fit, or id you state another cooler could you say if it fits?

Thanks in advance, Canadianultra

CPU: i5 4670k GPU: GTX 770 Mobo: Z87-UD3H RAM: 8Gb Ripjaws Case: Corsair 200R PSU: Corsair RM750

Are you completely against an AIO like an h105? I think AIO's look better than any air cooler. The noctua one, judging by linus' video on it, performs about the same as well. AIO's will fit in anything with some radiator space. You could get a 120mm if you wanted as well.

PC: 4770K @ 4.0 GHz --- Maximus VI Hero --- 8 GB 2133 MHz Corsair Vengeance Pro --- EVGA 780 TI Classified @ 1300 MHz --- Samsung Evo 250 GB --- Corsair RM 750 --- Corsair Carbide Air 540 --- CM Storm Rapid-I (MX Blues with PMK Evergreen Keycaps) --- Windows XP --- Razer Naga --- Custom Loop Parts: 380I, EKWB 780 Classy Waterblock and Backplate, 240mm and 360mm XT45, Swiftech MCP655, EKWB multi option reservoir, Mayhems Pastel Red, Primochill Primoflex Advanced Clear Tubing, 5 SP 120 Quiet Editions --- Mobile: Surface Pro 3 (i5 128gb) with JD40 (MX Clears) and Microsoft Sculpt Mouse --- Galaxy S6

The Noctua D15 won't fit, it has a height of 165mm while the corsair 200R has clearance for only 160mm.

Do you want to overclock?

Regardless, I reccomend the dark rock pro 3, I don't know if it will fit, but its awesome

Yes, I would like to overclock, the only place to buy the Dark Rock pro 3 in Canada is NCIX and its $100, is that similar to the us price or is that overpay?

I think they are pretty cool and look good, however I have heard that they are louder, it that true?

I have an h100i about two feet from my ears right now. No headphones on. It's easily audible. But even when gaming, i can't hear it through my headphones.

If the D15 or D14 won't fit get the NH-U14s, it performs very close to the D14 but it is quieter. I can't recommend it enough.

The u14s is about as tall as the D15.

If the D14 wouldn't fit, the u14s probably wouldn't fit either.
