Monster Gratitudes are pretty good. I have a different variant of them.

They come with loads of ear tips as well, which is super helpful.

Meh. Those look ugly and it's Monster...

Does the mic work on PC?

You need an adapter for any iem with a mic to work on PC.

As for the actual headphones, I recommend JBL J33i. Another option is Soundmagic E10M but if they are close to the same price, I would probably pick the JBLs.

Edit: This is what you need: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-MUYHSFMM-Headset-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B0058DOWH6/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1399192824&sr=1-3&keywords=mic+and+headphone+adapter

Looks are subjective. I think they look fine. Monster doesn't make bad headphones, just because they were partnered with Beats.

You're right, Monster makes bad headphones because they make bad headphones.

Lots of people like the sound signature they put out. So. There's that.

OP himself said he wasn't looking for audiophile grade stuff.

He'd probably enjoy them. I enjoy my Monster headphones over others I've heard. Each to their own.

Not audiophile grade stuff...but $75?

And sound signature? Headphones can have the same sound signature but one sucks and the other one is good.

What are some good in ear monitors under ....... I don't really care about the audio quality

How do you measure them as being good if their main purpose is inconsequential?

Do those work with anything that has a 4 pin connector and a mic?

I wouldn't say yes, considering the iPhone and Android devices use different layouts, but it might, idk really.

The mic will always work. The buttons might not.

You forget that audiophile is a term that gets tossed around to much. I'm talking about good products from reputable companies that know what they are doing, and the mentally deficient kid eating mud.
