I'm considering upgrading my RAM to 32GB with two of these sticks, has anyone heard of the brand/experience with their products? The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't pinpoint anything.

And before anyone says anything: I am aware that it's not recommended to mix and match sticks, but I'm okay with my computer not being 99.99% stable.

I did some digging, it seems to be a 31-year-old company from Poland. They also have "been the official distributor of Toshiba flash products for Central and Eastern Europe as well as Middle East and Africa." according to Wikipedia.

I'll buy and test it and let y'all know if there's any issues that likely aren't caused by me OCing it to match my existing RAM.

When shopping for RAM, keep in mind there is a very small number of companies that actually make memory, and everybody else is essentially putting a sexy heat spreader and logo (or not in this case) on what those companies make.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Hi,

Yes indeed, we are really a producer of the DRAM modules. We are located in Poland and our offer also includes SSDs, USB flash memory and memory cards.

If you need additional information about GOODRAM/IRDM modules and other brand products, feel free to ask questions.

We will try to answer all of them 🙂
