there is another option 12600 and no ram! and killer nvme or 12600 2666 ram 16mg and sata ssd rather than nvme also i can get 12600k with 8gb cheapest ram pisoble and second hand hard drive

12600 non K is not good, and overal a 12400 with decent RAM will be overall "better" than a 12600K with 8GB crap RAM

i want to build a pc for ram and cpu i have some options:

1. intel 12100 with 4400mhz cl17 ddr4 ram 16gb

2.intel 12100 with 3200 cl18 ddr4 32gb

3.intel 12400 with 3200 cl18 ddr4 16gb

4. intel 12500 with 2666 cl20 ddr4 16gb

5.intel 12600 with cheapest 16gb ddr4 ram i can find but sata ssd rather than nvme m.2

6. intel 12600 with no ram at all but killer nvme

which one is faster

i am not gonna have gpu anytime soon in this build

please tell me which one is the fastest i am frustrated on choosing the right one helllpppp

Budget (including currency): 350$ australian dollar

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: altium designer, corel draw, catia v5, little slidwork

Other details: motherboard msi pro b660m-e

building a pc is like choosing a wife, you can build something ugly on the outside but beautiful inside, or you can have something beautiful from outside with no brain, if you be lucky you can build a pc with amazing look inside and out if you have the money, and if you have crappy luck with no money you can end up with an ugly slow pc, so it seems it all comes to what you worth for yourself to spend on what you want to spend time with, if you are confused dont worry i am confused too

This one

3.intel 12400 with 3200 cl18 ddr4 16gb

Super fast RAM or lotta RAM is useless on a 12100, and the 12500 has no real advantage over a 12400

hello again sir and sorry for taking your time, i found a ram klevv cras xr rgb 16gb 2x8gb 4266mhz cl19 for 142$ this is the link

https://www.amazon.co.uk/KLEVV-DDR4-RAM-Performance-Overclocking-KD48GU880-42B190Z/dp/B098R454H8?currency=AUD

it goes over my budget but is it real? i couldn't find anything in pc part picker for klevv company about 4266mhz ram is it worth the risk to get it and hope for the best?

also i think i saw in one of the linus videos they have problem on running a 12900 with 4000mhz ram out of the box and i am afraid something like that happens your knowledge about computers obviously is more than me what do you think is better

I won't bother with expensive hi speed RAM, anything at 3200MHz or 3600 is good enough, additional performance will be random (depends on game/software) and at best tiny (like +3%...), supposing you don't have XMP issue with the memory controller...

understood, with shiping and everything it is the same price as a 3200mhz cl16 good brand ram even a little bit cheaper that is why i confused about it while it is kinda ends up at the same price with 3200mhz cl16 trident or corsair 16gb ram for me that is why i bothered you again for it, sorry thanks for the information, again ! and all your help , i mean while it ends up the same price which one is the better option
