does your hand get super tired when gripping it? for some reason my hand gets super tired while gripping it and I've used the vive wands, my hands never got tired while using those.

I have far more experience with the wands than the index controllers, but iirc the Index controllers aren't great if you have particularly large hands. 

It's possible you're perhaps gripping them a bit too hard, which is an issue I definitely encounter when using a flight stick for example.
