GPU bottleneck?

I'm thinking of getting a new CPU but I don't know if what I'm getting will bottleneck my GPU, I have an LP 1650 and I'm thinking of getting a i5-12600KF but idk if that would be to much for my GPU or if I should go with an i5-12400

These two can drive up to basically a 3070 at 1080p, so i think it's going to be fine for litteraly 95% of gpus, idk what your budget is but it should be fine, matters mostly in esports

There is no "too much for a gpu", you can pair a threadripper 3990X with a 1050ti and it's going to work fine, but for a 1650 a 12400 is plenty enough, you could even get an I3 12300 and be fine for gaming

Thats not really a strong gpu so even a ryzen 3600 will be fine

 

Either 13th gen i5 or a ryzen 5500/5600 cause 12600k/12700k both get squashed by 13600k performance wise
