Ok thats the one I was looking at. Kinda funny since the point of this was to find a flat one but do you have one with a light curve that you would recommend in a similar price range(cheaper better)? You seem to know your stuff.

I'm normally against curved monitors, but i found 1600-1800R to be acceptable on ultrawide. However, since you're using it to do CAD work i'd recommend a flat panel. Curved panels can distort the image and make straight lines appear crooked when you're looking at it slightly off-center.

Monitors really aren't my space so I need some help here. I'm looking for a 34" flat ultrawide that just looks good. I would love 4k but 1440 is also fine. And I just want it to look good. I do mostly CAD and work with a decent amount of gaming too (racing games almost exclusively). I don't really give a crap about high refresh rate as long as it's not worst than I have right now which is 75Hz. Decent contrast would be nice since I do a lot of writing and reading on it. I don't do photo work so it doesn't have to be ultra color accurate but I do blender work so It shouldn't be crap either. Budget max about 800usd but I'm very flex able nothing over 1k for sure.

And if you could recommend a decent VASA arm that would be good too.

Thanks for any help. Happy holidays (soon™)

Should probably include a budget.

Pretty much any decently rated VESA arm will work just fine. I like Vivo arms. Cheap, and they do the job.

Why do you want flat? It's a bit wide for that.

You'll want to have a look at this monitor:

Flat ultrawide monitors are rare. And good ones are even rarer. So you don't really have a big selection here.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
