- Budget: $680 and i cannot go over that
- Location: California
- Specific Use: Gaming, i want to play arma 3 and be able to play a few more modern games, I asume if i can play Arma 3 i will be able to play most other modern games, correct me if need be
- Any preferred components?: Nvida only for GPU
- Any spare parts you can re-use?: Yes hard drive
- Overclocking your processor?: For testing but normaly i always go back to stock
- Need an Operating System?: No
- Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard?: No
- Need a Wireless Card or Adapter? No

- Need Another Component? (Specify): Don't include price in the total build but i will take suggestions on a nice cool looking bada$$ case, right now i have a older but full ATX tower for the build but in the near future will be buying a new one.

I have a saved wish list on newegg and thats where i preffer to shop but wont rule out other places.

I have built more then a few computers in the past but its been a while and i'm a little out of the loop about newer hardware.

I preffer intel but with my budget i don't think it will be fast enough or it will lack in other area's such as usb 3.0 or sata ports.

I decided to go with an AMD CPU, it's really a better option given the price point. Going with intel would just be sacrificing gaming performance for the sake of having an i5. I left out storage since you have that already, I do recommend getting an SSD for your next upgrade though.

OP: This is almost exactly what I was going to post, you can always get a cheaper motherboard or case if you really needed to drop the price.

I'm that guy with the GPD Win.

You have just seen that i wrote that and don't want to look like an idiot don't you? Also why? He will be buying afterwards so it does not need to be included onside the budget.

Yes, you were skimping, big-time.

Look up benchmarks for your games?
