can i mix laptop memory if it is same size ant speed?

I have 8gb of Micron MTA8ATF1G64HZ-3G2J1 8gb 3200 MHz ram in my laptop (acording to HWiNFO64) it is running only at 2400 MHz speed. Would it be okay if I put another stick of 8gb ram in my laptop but not from Micron? Something like GoodRam 8gb 3200 MHz ram, because I cannot find the exact ram I have to buy.

As long as the specs match, it will be fine.

Even if the specs don't match, it will work. Mismatched RAM might not reach its ideal potential, but you probably won't notice anyway.

Just like any other PC components though, hang onto your receipt just in case, at least until you've run it for a while and made sure everything's fine.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
