VGA Light troubleshoot.

Pc powers on just fine. But the mother board isn't recognizing the GPU. I have tried reseating and cleaning the pci express lanes. Could it be the power supply?

Is this a new build or an upgrade?

 

Do you have a spare GPU you can swap in to confirm that everything else works?

 

Have your removed and reconnected the PCIe cables from the GPU?

 

This is silly, but did you push the GPU into the PCIe slot until it clicked? Some motherboards/setups make it surprisingly difficult to fully seat the card

 

Have you tried using any of the other PCIe slots on the motherboard?

 

Do any of the LEDs or Fans on the GPU do anything?
