What's the best bang-for-your buck per gigabyte for a SATA SSD

I want to get a SATA SSD for my laptop, as it currently has a 128 GB M.2 boot drive and I would like some more storage.  I want more storage, but I don't want to spend too much money.  I am thinking of the best bang for your buck for $100, but that's not a strict limit and I can go over that budget if I need to.  But yeah, so what do you think is the best SATA SSD for around $100?

Crucial would be way to go here. $67 for 1tb.

If you go on pc partpicker you can sort by $/Gb and find out what's the best value. And you can scroll further down to find other options if you don't trust some of them. Here's the top 12 SSD's with best $/GB

Fuck me, that's even cheaper! How is their reliability?

Edit: wait, no it's not, I just can't read today.

It's not cheaper than the 2tb options, but 1tb should be plenty for what you need. You can always get an external hard drive or usb flash drive for backups.

reliability is far more important...............Crucial is far more established than the other brands like TeamGroup or Leven......
