In the search bar next to the Start button, type "disk" and one option that comes up should be "create and format hard disk". Click on that and see if your drive shows up (you may need to scroll the lower box to see everything). If it is listed, right click on it and it will walk you through initiating the drive. If it is only for storage, leave all of the defaults. Once you do this, the drive will become available and show up in File Explorer and be ready to save files in it
