Just throwing this up here to see if anyone has similar thoughts in regards to the screwdriver. So I have had mine for about a week now at work and have been using it a lot on purpose to put it through its paces. Over all its an excellent tool and functionally better than my two snap on ones by a pretty wide margin but I have a couple points of feed back.

- This sucker is slippery. The handle is too smooth in my opinion, especially if you get any kind of grease on your hand. I work in automotive so clean hands aren't a thing and I fine this to get slick real quick. Im not saying you have to go soft handle, but maybe in the future imprinting either a cross-hatch pattern or little ltt logos into the plastic or whatever just to give it a texture and something to actually grip. Also we saw similar feedback in the pop up shop video when they were trying to do the torque test so I know I am not alone

- The shank is a little short IMO, its not bad, it just would have been a bit better imo if it was an inch to an inch an a half longer. Ive already found a couple locations where I had to bust out a different tool cause this one simply would not reach.

- I find the handle to be a bit on the small side, HOWEVER im 6'2 and 280 lbs and have decently big hands so it might just be a problem with being in an outlier bracket when it comes to size. Maybe more average size people dont have this same problem. The girth is fine, I just would have preferred the length of the handle to be a bit more, but this might be a nitpick

With all this said I am still very happy with this product and as long as it stands up the test of time than its absolutely worth the price tag for me

  • 1 month later...

Seconding that "too slippery" feedback on the handle. Just got my driver yesterday and that's the only negative comment I have so far.

I remember the videos talking about how the overmold options break down or get sticky - and it's great to avoid that, but I may have to add hockey tape or racquet handle tape so I don't drop this thing all the time.

Wait! That's it... Linus wanted to make everyone drop things as much as he does!

I haven't had any issues with it being too slippery. I've adjusted my grip from the end of the handle to the knurling on the shaft, upside down under a dash without issues or having to two hand it. Its actually one of my favorite things about it. Its not too grippy where it gets caught in my hand/glove and throws my aim off when adjusting my grip, or drops the screw.

The shank is a bit short, and have had a few instances where I had to get another driver.

One of these days I will actually write my review.... been crazy busy at work + WoW has been consuming too much of my free time.
