Drivers

Hello everyone, so I was wondering I have a Radeon red devil 6700xt. What is the difference between the drivers on the powercooler website and the drivers on the official amd website, and which one should I install?

The ones on AMD's website are newer. Download from AMD's website

Really? Because I downloaded the drivers off the powercooler website and its on version 22.5.2 while on the amd website they are only on 22.5.1

AMD's recommended driver (I.E. the one that's had the most intensive bug testing) is 22.5.1, while the latest "optional" driver (better performance, a little more likely to run into bugs) they have released is 22.11.1. 22.5.2 was another one of those optional drivers, so in reality it's ~5 months old. 

 

If you go into the previous drivers section on AMD's website, you will find a download link for 22.5.2 with a release date of 6/20/2022
