What do you guys think about these parts O.o

CPU: Intel I5 4670k

GPU: R9 280x/270x

Mobo: MB LGA1150 Z87 MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate

RAM: DIMM DDR3 8GB 1600MHz Kingston CL10

HDD: 1Tb Seagate

Case:  LC Power 923B Red Captor or NZXT H230 White, it depends on how much money i have left over for a case.

Now guys, i'm not really sure about a PSU. I have these 2 on my mind, so which one do you think would be better

530W Thermaltake Smart SPS-530M Modular

or

600W Cooler Master B Series, RS-600-ACABD3-E1

Also, with this rig i'm walking very tight on my budget, that's why i wrote 280x/270 (the difference between those 2 here is around 125$)

Another thing for a PSU is that i can't find any Corsair here (i heard they're quite good) :D

Btw, i haven't build a PC in years (last time i did it, 512Mb GPU were high end...), and then i had my father helped me...

P.S. English isn't my first language, so i'm sorry about any mistakes.

P.P.S. Also, sorry Linus because i asked a similar question on Twitter :(

Both psus will do but there are likely better options.

It would help to link us to where you're shopping and telling us your budget.

How much are you willing to spend on your PSU? The cooler master option isn't modular and Thermaltake has somewhat fallen off the radar in the last few years.

- Snip -

First, don't mind the mistakes. In fact you're considerably more grammatically correct than many posts.

Second, I would probably go with a different PSU. I've used the SP Thermaltake series and have had zero issues, but I have also read countless, horrendously bad reviews on them. Going with a cheap Rosewill or CX series from Corsair would be a much better choice.

But it's hard to really grade your build without knowing your actual budget. That being said, I think those components, outside the PSU, are fine and likely priced well.

EDIT: I got beat twice, dang.

Budget isn't really definite, but it has the limit around 80-90 000 RSD (I can personally add a little bit more from my savings), but i'm trying not to really go too high with the price, since i won't be upgrading this PC for some time (i mean the CPU, that's why i'm going with Intel, no AMD), and i'd like to stash the leftover cast for a GPU upgrade in the future :D

As for the PSU, my budget is around 6 000-7 000 RSD

This is the site, it's the page for PSU and fans

Also, like i said, you can't buy Corsair here :(

P.S. I even made an AMD rig alternative for a budget PC in the case something unexpected happens :D

Don't allocate separate funds for each part and work with the parts from the total instead.

Thanks a lot guys, you've been a huge help :D  :D I just got to ask a few questions O.o

I think that this build is pretty good, but will 4570 be able to run newest games on high (not ultra) for about next 2 years O.o

Will a maximum of 16Gb of RAM be enough for future gaming O.o Also, i'm kinda a tab monster :D

Is there really any big difference between Micro ATX and ATX boards in the performance department O.o

Also, about SSD? I have one in my current laptop and i don't really see any big difference in performance O.o So, can SSD be bottlenecked by the computer's CPU O.o

Again thank you a lot guys :D

The 4570 should be fine and 16GB should be plenty

The motherboard doesn't affect performance.

The ssd won't be bottlenecked by the cpu and it won't affect gaming performance in terms of fps unless you're using it to improve texture loading speeds for a heavily modded game or something of the sort. What it does do as you should know from using one is that it makes a system more snappy and responsive for a better overall user experience.

Thanks, but what do you think about using SSHD instead of SSD and HDD and using the extra money for a better, overclock capable, mobo and 4670k O.o

BTW, i seriously like that build :D And i'm even strongly considering on buying it :D

EDIT: How long do you think i could use that (4570) CPU for gaming.

P.S. Again, i'm sorry about asking so many questions, but i've been so out of PC making that i don't even know what L2 - L3 cache, what stream processors are... :(

A sshd isn't as consistently snappy as a ssd. Changing out for a z87 motherboard, 4670k, and an aftermarket cooler costs more than the difference between ssd + hdd and sshd.

Not sure--I'm guessing at least several years.

L2 and L3 Cache are just levels of onboard ram that is on the die and faster to access than the main system memory.

Stream processors are many simple processors that perform single slow threads.

Actually, isn't h87 also an overclockable mobo? Because by using it, i can actually fit it into my budget?

With some bios versions yes. However, Intel doesn't 'like' it and would probably push newer bios updates that prevent oc'ing.

If i use this mobo, SSHD and 4670k with the rest of the components, i'll only go around 17$ over my budget O.o

And i would buy the cooler later when i actually plan on overclocking.

What do you think about that O.o

Getting a ssd over a sshd makes a bigger difference than getting the 4670k over the 4570.

I'm around 97,5% sure i'll go with your original recommendation :D But can you recommend me a mobo with four RAM slots, because later (probably at the end of August) i'll be buying new RAM (if i have space that is). I can go around 20$ over my budget :D

Thanks's man

Also, is there any difference between this one and the Crucial you recommended, except the price of course O.o

The m500 is just better.
