What mic to get

Hi people!

Currently I own a Tonos Q9 mic for home office and my DnD group that i DM. Problem is that when I make weird creature noises or people screaming or anything like that the mic just doesn’t pic it up no matter how I set it up. I’m looking for any mic suggestions. Budget is about 150€.

for under 150 and with black friday coming up I would consider:

Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

RØDE NT-USB

Shure MV7 - you will need to find a good deal to be 150 normally it cost around 230

If you can budget an audio interface, an XLR cable, and a schure sm58, you'd be spectacular. 

It is black November so you should find a deal or two

I have seen sm58 for just under 100 but not sure about any decent xlr audio interface for 50. Any recommendations for the OP(and future me when I will upgrade to xlr)?

You could get a schure sm57 which is about $70? 

With black Friday, you could check out some music stores and see whatsup there. 

 

I'm sure there's a slew of excellent deals on lesser known products if you talk to those experts.
