Wordpress file storage site help

I have a Dell Poweredge 1950 server and I was wondering, could I host a file server. I was thinking about making it with wordpress but I don't know how to get it set up and port forwarded for my friends to use it. Any help?

I've wondered the same. I've actually created a website and at least tried to host files so others could download them but I keep getting a 404 error. So there's something wrong with the coding.  But yes its possible. I'm just not sure how with html. But I do use Tonido which works well and they have their own app for apple and google play. 

Gaming rig- Cpu- Amd 9590, 16gbs of G Skill Ram, Gpu- GTX 760 windforce 3 edition 2gb. A Thermaltake water 2.0 water cooler for my cpu. Keyboard- Thermaltake Posieden , Case- 750D, Mobo Asus 990fx R2.0. 24 inch Dell LED monitor
