Do you know the diffrence between the lastest i9 and i5

The latest I9 runs very hot and is barely better than the I7.

I'd get the 13600k or 13700k just depending on budget. Carry your RAM and everything over and make sure to get a board with Bios Flashback

I like the MSI Z690A DDR4

my question why does a i9 need an upgrade, that CPU is 5+Ghz and 10 cores with 20 threads

does 2x memory bandwdth have really that much impact?

Uhhhh because his 10900k is bottlenecking his 3090 at 1440p? The 13th gen chips are way better

You talk about bottleneck, but by what exactly?

main reason for upgrade is MW2 only getting 80-100 frames and cant multitask while playing

A 13600k/13700k should help considerably. Although if you're willing to go Ryzen the new 3d chips next year will do the trick even better

clock speed/ipc/total threads. He says he can't multitask while playing.

The 10900k has 20 threads, the 13700k has 24 and can OC to almost 6ghz

Yeah, but I don't get the math, the i9 is 5.3Ghz and the i5 is 5.1Ghz, does Warzone really utilise that many cores?
