Drivers

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

Does your current AMD CPU have integrated graphics and you have a dedicated GPU from Nvidia? Run DDU in safe mode and uninstall the AMD graphics drivers.

Does your current AMD CPU have integrated graphics but you have a dedicated AMD GPU? Run DDU and install the latest Intel Graphics drivers.

Does your current AMD CPU not have an iGPU? Just install the Intel iGPU drivers.

You do not need drivers for the CPU, just for the iGPU. You can install chipset drivers if you want, but for Intel CPU's the only thing it does is rename some stuff in device manager.

If you still get issues, it might be worth doing a clean install because of the platform switch.

Edit: if you don't have an iGPU on your new CPU like explained by @RONOTHAN##, you don't need the Intel drivers.

I would like to point out that only matters if your new Intel chip has an iGPU, if you get an -F/-KF SKU or have a board that doesn't have iGPU power rails that doesn't apply.

I'm assuming you're from the Netherlands looking at your name? If so this will be cheaper and performs just as good as the Noctua. https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1743102/deepcool-ak620.html
