BF3 Game Settings

I recently began playing Bf3 again but whenever I start the game it loads in windowed mode in 640x480. Whenever i try to change this to 1080p (my native resolution), it works for that session but when i try to restart the game it goes back to that windowed mode. I have made sure that the settings files in my documents is not ticked 'read only' and i don't know what else to do. Any help?

Change the resolution in the document to what you want and then make it read only, the game shouldn't change it then.

but then i wouldn't be able to change the settings in game right? Like for key bindings?

If this only happens with the video settings, change the key bindings and anything else you want. Then change the resolution like Jamdude said.

Yeah, try doing it in the INI, or whatever file it's in. Also, run as admin by default and also make sure there are no restrictions on your video memory. eg. you aren't folding whist playing.
